I tend to divide music in to two separate groups: good and bad music. Good music is something that has grown out of a genuine joy of making music. Bad music is produced with something else than music in mind.
My personal favourites from group "Good music": Ryan Adams, Neil Young, Hellacopters, Gluecifer, Wilco, Tool, Procupine Tree, Bon Iver, Disco Ensemble, LAPKO, Kent, Band of Horses, Rubik, Kastor, The Sounds, etc.
My personal favourites from group "Bad music": Simple Plan, All Idols, Bling Bling rap and r'n'b, Britney Spears, Il Divo, Good Charlotte, etc.
